Welcome to Batam, you're not in Batam if you're not visit Barelang Bridge. Usually people come to Batam to visit Tuanku Fisabilillah Bridge. In the other name, it called Jembatan satu Barelang. This Bridge is one of BJ Habibie's creations. He is third president in Indonesia. Well, you should know there are six bridge which is connecting three island, Batam - Rempang - Galang. Which stretches along 54 kilometers. Thats why it called Barelang Bridge.

Let me tell you the name of six bridge. The first bridge name is Tengku Fisabilillah. Second Bridge is Nara Singa. Third Bridge is Raja Ali Haji. Fourth Bridge is Sultan Zainal Abidin. Fifth Bridge is Tuanku Tambusai. The last one, sixth bridge is Raja Kecik. Barelang bridge is pilot project with high technology. Involving Indonesian and overseas Engineers. The construction of six bridge takes six years from 1992 until 1998.

So, I have a new information related the bridge above. At Tuanku Tambusai Bridge, which is located at Rempang Island. There's a new resort, the name is SBS Resort means Sangat Bahagia Sekali Resort. How to reach this resort? If you from Singapore, it will take 3 hours by ferry. From Bandara Hang Nadim by car, you need time around 60 minutes. Before you reach the bridge, turn right.
